And now for something completely different..
Recently we were able to assist a client in the rebuilding of his 1938 SS100 (later Jaguar). The car was completely rebuild, except for the steering box and consequently it was driving horribly.
We offered a complete rebuild service of the Burman Douglas steering box and column, including a new custom made nut with hardened steel insert, and an improved lubrication of the cross shaft including a proper oil seal.
The first test drive proved that the overhaul was successful and the car now steers excellent. Ready for a lot of years of wonderful driving.
